Research Permits


In order to do research at Mpala, research permits are required. They can be acquired through the Kenyan government. See below for information and the links for the proper paperwork.

Present research permit fees:
Undergraduate: $150
Masters Candidate: $350
PhD Candidate: $400
Post Doc/Senior Researchers: $500

Live Animal Traps

If bringing live animal traps into the country, you need to first obtain a letter from KWS in order to not have your traps confiscated.
